Wedding Bells | Wedding Themes & Color Schemes
Now for the fun part – your wedding theme!
So, we’re making our way towards the end of wedding planning. Do you feel totally excited and relieved? Because we hope you do! We’ve made it through picking the wedding dress, finding the perfect venue, and choosing your favorite invitation. Now there’s only one thing left to tackle – the overall theme and color scheme! Now we know when someone typically thinks of a wedding their mind is often bombarded with the color red, but we’re here to broaden your horizons! Any color under the sun can be the perfect color scheme for your wedding as long as you know how to execute it properly. Between the bridesmaid dresses, the groomsmen corsages, the bouquet, and the décor extras such as center pieces and flowers, you have tons to work with when it comes to adding a pop of color to your wedding. To give you an idea of the possibilities out there, we created some mood boards for you to take a look at so you don’t get completely overwhelmed. Here’s Wedding Bells | Wedding Themes & Color Schemes, the last part of our wedding series. Happy wedding planning!
If you’re looking to take a more feminine route when it comes to wedding themes and color schemes, then blush pink is the way to go. It’s super soft and feminine while not being overly girly, and it goes super well with greens/earth tones (think: the perfect bohemian wedding).
For a wedding look that’s super romantic, burgundy is a great choice. Deep reds are more relaxing and less in your face than a true, bright red shade, and they’re a classic color when it comes to weddings.
Blue may not typically be the first color that comes to mind when thinking of wedding themes, but it’s definitely a color you shouldn’t automatically rule out. Pale, dusty blue is universal in the sense that it can tie into a beachy wedding theme, but also be perfect for a rustic or bohemian theme.
If you’re thinking about having a rustic themed wedding, green is absolutely the way to go. Green gives you the perfect opportunity to incorporate plants and succulents into your wedding décor, and, for obvious reasons, ties perfectly into woodsy, outdoor sceneries.
Want to automatically make all your guests feel upbeat and cheery the second they step foot into your wedding ceremony? Then yellow is the way to go. It’s almost impossible to be surrounded by all things yellow and not instantly be put in a good mood (and after the stress of months of wedding planning, this will definitely work in your favor!)
