TRUE Cares | Red Nose Day
Be sure to stop by your local Walgreens and pick up your Red Nose!!
May 21st is Red Nose Day, a movement dedicated to raising money and awareness for children and young adults living in poverty through laughter and fun.
Jane Tewson and Richard Curtis founded the campaign. The duo firmly believes that mass media and high-profile celebrities can be powerful tools in raising awareness for issues, such as poverty, and motivating changes that can save millions of lives.
The organization behind Red Nose Day, Comic Relief (previously known as America Gives Back Inc.) has partnered with NBC to raise funds. There will be a 3-hour entertainment special on Thursday, featuring actors, comedians, musicians, and more.
