We’re celebrating National Chili Day a bit early!
Mother Nature has been teasing us here and there with some warm days, but no matter how much we wish it would stay the truth is we still have a good amount of winter left. We’ve seen time and time again that just because it’s 55 degrees one day doesn’t mean it can’t be 20 degrees the next, so as much as we’d like to finally pack away all our winter coats and fluffy scarves (or, maybe we’ll hang onto those because they’re so incredibly comfy), we sadly have to be a bit more patient. Now, fortunately for us there are some positives about the cold weather even if sometimes it’s hard to notice them, and one of those positives include all the yummy foods and drinks you can eat and sip on that will warm you right up. One of our favorites is chili, and lucky for us there’s a whole day dedicated to celebrating (and eating) it! February 22 is National Chili Day, but since we’re having to face the cold weather almost every single day, we’re taking it upon ourselves to celebrate this day a bit early. Just think: what can be better than coming home from a long and cold day of work to a huge, warm pot of chili sitting on the stove just waiting for you to eat it up? Not many things!
